Attention Patients of Fort HealthCare Dermatology:
Dr. Robert Glinert will be temporarily away from Fort HealthCare starting in mid June, 2012 to obtain additional training in skin cancer at Harvard University, Boston. It is important that he attend this fellowship training because over the past few years there have been several major breakthroughs in the understanding of skin cancer. It is becoming clear that most cancers have a genetic basis. Therefore dermatology is entering a new phase in cancer diagnosis and treatment that will rely heavily on a new set of molecular testing and targeted and personalized treatment. We are pleased that upon his return in approximately one year, Dr. Glinert will be better able to offer you, and all of our dermatology patients, the latest innovations in dermatologic care. He will return in June of 2013.
